Remarkable facts about cross country skiing poles
- Height for the classic technique, your height should be multiplied by 0.85. Depending on the needs, the result can be “stretched” by few centimeters, if you aim to optimize the double-poling.
- Height for skating technique, your height should be multiplied by 0.90.
- For cross-country skiing, our advice is to prefer a strong basket with wide contact surface in order to maximize the grip on any kind of snow.
- For roller skiing, very resistant tips (e.g. widia) are strongly recommended.
